So when is everyone really, really busy?  Well, the month of December is typically the busiest month for most people, as on top of their everyday lives like work, school, and taking care of their home and kids, they are also fighting winter weather, shopping for presents, writing cards, attending family and friend get-togethers, and being extra busy with other Christmas preparations and celebrations.  This means that generally speaking, people have less time for entering contests and sweepstakes during the month of December.

The funny thing here, is that December is typically also the month that has one of the highest number of available contests and sweepstakes that close in any particular month of the year.  So there are lots of opportunities out there, and those people who can make a little extra effort and time for entering contests and sweepstakes during the month of December, perhaps have the odds more in their favor of winning.
